|Why should I register?
Registration is free. It includes both the Feedback Arena and the Forums, and allows
you to do the following:
- Add your own reviews and ratings
- Add suppliers not already listed
- Join in the discussions on the forums
- Send private messages to other members
To register, you will need to specify a username and password,
and a valid email address. Entering your email address will not leave you open to 'spam', as you can choose to
hide your email address, and messages sent to you via email do not reveal your address to the sender in any case.
How can I remember my password and validation code every time I visit?
|You don't have to! Providing you have enabled cookies, the system will remember you and automatically fill in your
username, password and validation code (after you have entered it for your first review) every time you log in.

When you register, you will be given the option to 'Automatically login when you return to the site'. This will

|How do I clear my cookies?
You may clear all your cookies by clicking here. If you
return to the main index page via the link provided and you are still logged in, you may have to remove your cookies
Here are the instructions for Internet Explorer 5 on Windows 9x:
- Close all Internet Explorer windows.
- Click the "Start" button.
- Move up to "Find" and click "Files or Folders"
from the menu that appears.
- In the new window that appears, in the "containing text"
field, type in the domain name of the site without the "http://" or "www." part.
- In the "look in" box, type in "C:\Windows\Cookies\"
(without the quotes) and press "Find Now"
- After it has finished searching, highlight all files (click
a file, then press CRTL+A) and delete them (press the "delete" key or SHIFT+DEL)
Your cookies should now be removed. You may want to restart
the computer and revisit the site to be sure.
|How can I change the
information in my profile?
|It is your responsibility to keep the information in your profile
up-to-date. You should especially ensure that your email address is kept current. You can alter any of the fields
in your profile, except your username. Once you have registered your username, it becomes yours for life. In extreme
circumstances, you may request that the administrator change your username, but he will require a very good reason
to do so.

|If you forget your password, you can click on the 'Forgotten your username or password?'
link on any page that requires you to fill in your password.
This will bring up a page where you should enter your registered email address, and your password will be automatically
emailed to you immediately.
What happens if I forget my validation code?
|If you forget your validation code, just get a new one. You can
click on the 'Need a validation code or forgotten your old one?' link on any page that requires you to fill in
your validation code.
This will bring up a pop-up page where you should enter your username and password, and a new validation code will
be automatically emailed to you immediately. If you have pop-up windows disabled, click on the '
Pop-ups disabled? Click here instead
' link instead.
Remember that old versions of your code will no longer work once updated. If you have acquired a new validation
code since your last visit, enter the new code from your email.
|Can I edit or delete my reviews?
|There is no user facility to edit or delete reviews once submitted.
However, your request may be considered in exceptional circumstances. If you do have a very strong reason for wanting to change your review, click on the small "Report
this review to admin" link directly underneath the review. Add your comments in the 'Reasons' box, giving
a strong reason for wishing to have your review removed (rather than just submitting an updated new one) and we
will consider deleting it for you. If approved, you will then be able to submit a fresh review to replace it.
|Can I use smilies?
|Although you can enter the text character
combinations conventionally used to represent smilies, the script converting them into graphical icons has been disabled.
|Why was my review removed?
The review was deemed to be fraudulent or probably contravened
one or more of the published guidelines:
- You must be aged 14 or over.
- You must not own or be an employee of the supplier whose service
or product you are reviewing.
- Do not criticise a service or product merely to "get your
own back" at a supplier or to damage your competitor.
- Do not criticise other people's reviews.
- Do not use offensive language.
- Your review must be original. Do not copy reviews from other
sites or publications.
- Do not use more than one username or share the same IP address with another user.
As a general rule, reviews are very rarely removed.
