Three 19th-century pocket/fruit knives with silver blades

Period: Victorian

Origin: England

Date: 19th century


Three mother-of-pearl faced pocket knives, each with a single silver blade.

All blades bear full set of sterling hallmarks. From left:
Sheffield, 1892
Sheffield, 1891
Sheffield, 1837

The earliest knife is inscribed "E. Bayliss" on the inset silver plaque.


Size: Lengths (closed): 7.2 - 8.9 cms

Condition: Perfect except damaged tip to the blade of the largest knife.
